Instructions

THE NIGHT BEFORE SURGERY:

Do not eat or drink anything after midnight. If you eat or drink 8 hours prior to your surgery, your surgery will need to be rescheduled.

THE DAY OF SURGERY;

You may brush your teeth, but do not drink water.
Shower the morning of your surgery.
Do not use body lotion the morning of your surgery.
Bring your insurance card and photo ID.
Bring your form of payment, cash, check, credit card, Care Credit, etc.
Leave your valuables at home.
If you wear contact lenses, either leave them at home or bring your lens case and products with you.
Wear comfortable clothing.
Bring a copy of your lab work, EKG, or Chest x-ray if done outside the center.
You must be driven home and accompanied by a responsible adult for the first 24 hours following surgery.
